Its the 66th year of India being freed from the British Rule on this August 15th, 2013. So what do Indians actually do on this day, being a holiday?
A few patriot’s, will wake up early, join at a government place or a school or so for the flag hoisting ceremony, sing the National Anthem, and then just continue with their daily routine lives.
There a few others, who join along to do something different, they go out of their daily normal schedule, join the less privileged people at Ashram’s or Health Cares or may Hospital’s, or even road’s and celebrate Independence Day with them.
While there are the other major part of the few, who wake up late, go out for a outing, do some shopping, eat out, sleep for the whole day or go for a movie, and ask them whats Independence Day and all they would say is, its a
Holiday and a Dry Day where liquor is not sold 😉
“Can you WhatsApp me that info?”
“Hey lets discuss about this on WhatsApp”
“I have shared the photos on our family group on WhatsApp”
Are you one like me who at once started wondering when did this new word was added in the dictionary, after the some new additions like “Can you please Google that one?”, “Hey you on FB?” , “I just tweeted that update!”.
Now what do you have in mind when you read the title? Every Indian without doubt knows what a three-wheeler is? Have traveled at-least once in life, and the experience was worth sharing.
From the north to the south, east to west, there wouldn’t be a state where there is not three wheeler. And what do we call it? Yes its the Auto rickshaw. In some place we have cycle rickshaw, Tonga Gaddi (Horse Cart) so on to replace the auto rickshaw.
Now for daily commuters to work, school or to go for shopping, traveling in a auto rickshaw wouldn’t be a new thing. But exploring places, going trekking or going to the beach, through the jungles and also the plains, palaces, temples, churches and mosques, wouldn’t that be something new and adventurous? And when you are driving it yourself to the place, I know you got your adrenaline rushing right as you read it.
