Pyar Ka Punchnama

Heard about Postmortem of Love? In 2011, this is also done, and we have “Pyar Ka Punchnama”, the new Bollywood movie, earned all the fame and “Likes” among the young, working inclusive of “loving” generation.

After watching too many movies of Love and marriage from the girls point of view, here’s the first one from the guys point of view.

Pyar Ka Punchnama

The movie is about 3 simple ordinary normal guys, Rajat (Kartik Tiwari), Vikrant Choudhary (Raayo Bakhirta) and Nishant Agarwal-Liquid (Divyendu Sharma), roommates and good friends, who lead a normal bachelor life, who “Fall” in love, and to find out that, girls are from ‘Venus’ after all. The movie depicts about how a guy in his normal ‘bindaas’ attitude tires out ‘Love’ to find out he was wrong to do this experiment, coz the girl has too many expectations and different views and ideas and plans and the list just goes on, which is not compatible with the guy. The comedy-drama continues throughout the movie, with a new twisty romantic black mail and how the guy just falls in it.

Pyar Ka PunchnamaThe girls Nushrat Bharucha as Neha, Sonalli Sehgal as Rhea and Ishita Sharma as Charu, play the girls role, who in their unique way, believe in Love, but also enjoying life as they want, and the guys have just to come behind them without a word.

All the new comers of this movie, have played their role well, and since they were all new, the reality of the movie remains very well portrayed. The dialogs and the songs of the movie, keeps you rofl, every other 30mins.

Just a INR12 Crore budget movie, has really rocked the other movies, thought a little slow at the beginning but then it did catch on.

This movie is a must for all working professionals, who are in love, so you get to know some realities in life, before stepping into doing experiments with realities of life. But recently most of the girls have come against this movie, saying its the boys point of view and not girls, come on, how much of rights and freedom we need to give them anymore.

The best dialog of the movie I liked was,

“You know why gay people are more successful than others because there is no tension of girl in their life”

And the song track, Ban Gaya Kutta

Baandh ishq ka patta / Dekho ban gaya kutta / Bandh gaya patta / Dekho ban gaya kutta .
