One-In-All Indian Vegetable Gravy Recepie

All bachelors and people who hardly know cooking like me, would be happy to note down this simple recipe for all vegetables you know.

I know how hard it is, to keep in mind recipes to make one small dinner or lunch, and how many times we have to see that book, just to get it right, and to our good fortune, most of the times its either to salty, too spicy, or burnt or the best not eatable at all.

So a magic recipe for all, you don’t have to remember much, and it works with most of the vegetables, tried it, tasted it, ate it, and got approved by my sweet room mates.

This recipe is not just my discovery but another room mate also takes part with it along with me.

Mixed Vegetable Curry

So cutting down the long introduction, here’s the recipe.

You need,
Green Chilly
Ginger Garlic Paste
Turmeric Powder
Masala Powder
Salt and Oil

Now chop all the vegetables, onion, tomato, chilly and keep it aside.
Heat the pan with oil, use non stick as precaution always, this is precaution is mainly for bachelors.
When the oil is heated, put in the onion, and fry it till golden brown, and then add tomato, chilly, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and the masala powder.
Mix well.
Add the vegetables, pour in the amount, keeping in mind the required amount of gravy you need.
Add salt, and all the vegetables to boil.
Sprinkle coriander leaves, and serve it hot.

Now some tips and tricks for the recipe.
The measurement is in ratio, 1Kg of vegetable takes 3-4 medium sized onions, and 3-4 medium sized tomatoes and 3-4 green chillies.
Now you’ll have to do the rest of the math, to know whats the quantity you looking forward to make.
For this recipe you can mix vegetables together, or you can make individual vegetable curry.
Keep in mind of the hard or think vegetables which take longer time to boil, like potato, cabbage etc. how to see if the vegetable is boiled is, take a piece of the vegetable from the dish, and try to smash it in you fingers, if it doesn’t take much effort then its done, else its not. Now remember, the piece will be hot, so blow some air to cool it down.

And if you think you can make some changes in this recipe, feel free to comment down below and share your knowledge along with me, so all can have a happy meal 🙂
